The course provides a strong foundation, preparing you for roles in a variety of statutory, voluntary, and independent settings, such as local authority teams, health promotion projects, refugee and asylum services, hospitals, sheltered housing, hospices, day centers, and residential care facilities.
Graduates with a background in Health and Social Care are well-positioned for careers in health education, promotion, welfare, research, community mental health, and care management. Potential roles include service managers, coordinators, advocates, educators, trainers, or support workers assisting children and families, the elderly, disabled individuals, substance abusers, and those with mental health issues.
