The European International University (EIU-Paris) is a private education establishment authorized by the French Ministry of National Education, as well as Higher Education, Research, and Innovation in accordance with the French Education Act (Code de l’Education Articles L 444-1 to 444-11 and R 444-1 to 444-28).

EIU-Paris was founded with a vision to offer international-type programs and qualifications to the global student market. As a result, the university does not provide programs in French medium, nor does it use traditional French degree nomenclature, such as "Licence universitaire" for Bachelor's degrees, "Master" (pronounced "mah-stehr" with a silent 'r') for Master's degrees, or "Doctorat de recherche" for Doctorate degrees.

Instead, EIU-Paris offers a range of international-type degree programs such as BEd, BSITDS, BBA, MBA, MSIET, MSMHP, MSITDS, DBA, DMan, EdD, PsyD, and PhD.

With its international focus and reach, EIU-Paris holds international accreditation from the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges, and Universities (ASIC). The university received Premier University status from ASIC, UK, on 2nd October 2018. ASIC is recognized by UKVI in the UK and is a member of the CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG) in the USA, listed in their International Directory. ASIC is also a member of the British Quality Foundation (BQF), an affiliate of the European Network for Quality Assurance (ENQA), and an institutional member of the European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN).

Programmatic Accreditation Pursuit

 EIU-Paris is currently pursuing programmatic accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), United States, after obtaining accreditation candidacy status.

Recognitions and Rankings

 The university takes pride in achieving 5 QS Star Ratings for Teaching Quality and Online Learning Platform criteria. EIU-Paris undergoes audits and quality assurance processes by internationally acclaimed bodies such as ACBSP, ECBE, BGA, and ATHEA.

In a significant recognition, EIU-Paris has been ranked at #55 for 2023 by CEOWORLD Magazine, alongside prestigious institutions such as London Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, Wharton, Harvard Business School, and others.
